Digital cameras were a godsend to amateur porn, letting anyone become a superstar from the comfort of their own bedroom. And for all the joys and wonders that you'll find in the adventurous amateur niche, there are certainly a few bloopers to add to the reel too. Sometimes people share a bit too much, and you may be about to see even more of the good and the bad all in 360 virtual reality thanks to a new camera from Samsung.
Set to bring you life's moments in full 360-degree glory, Samsung's new and improved 360 Camera will let any amateur videographer shoot in 360 and bring their memories to virtual reality. The impact for designers and YouTube posters are tremendous, but little talked about so far are the implications for homemade porn enthusiasts. It's a new array of camera angles and potential for super extreme close-ups like never before and there's no telling where amateur porn makers will go with it. We're obviously well aware here of what can be done with a camera and some willing and horny actors, but what will the folks at home get up to?
Here's what you need to know before you start shooting your own 360 video with the Samsung Gear 360.
CompatibilityBefore you strip down to start shooting you'll need to ensure that you've got either a Samsung phone or an iPhone to use along with it. The coordinating Samsung app works easily and makes the Gear 360 the perfect camera for taking immersive video, but you'll likely need a Galaxy S6 or higher, or an A5-A7 model phone. Using the Gear 360 with the iPhone is not as easy, and we're still not sure why Samsung decided to forgo other Android devices in favor of the iPhone IOS and Mac's. The apps are spotty and don't always work that well, making it harder to edit and render.
DesignA smaller design than the previous version of the Gear 360, 2017's version is a small camera globe that sits on a small neck that holds the battery. It won't take up much room and can get into tight spots with ease. It's equipped with a standard tripod socket, so amateur film makers will be able to make use of their tripods without adding in a potentially mood ruining camera man.
Rain resistant but not waterproof, it's not a camera designed for intense water sports and definitely shouldn't be taken swimming. Charging is easy and makes use of a standard USB-C port while video is recorded to a microSD memory card so you can take proof of your encounter with you instead of leaving it in the camera. The Gear 360 allows for multiple resolutions and with a battery life of 90 minutes at 4K or two hours at a resolution of 2K, you won't have to interrupt your playtime to charge the battery. Stitching is accomplished with the help of two camera lenses located close together and two image sensors that each operate at 8.4 megapixels to produce a 15-megapixel image.
Live StreamingA new live streaming feature on the Gear 360 will allow long distance lovers to add some flair to their relationship that beats phone sex and face time. Just set up the camera to film and while you won't be able to live stream the feed directly to your lover you'll be able to send it through the Gear 360 app or even on YouTube or Facebook Live if it's not too racy. We'd also suggest putting your laundry away or moving your family photos because we all don't need to see that much of your real life in a homemade porn.
