Palmer Luckey's Vison for VR Porn

Posted on September 27, 2017

The now infamous Founder of Oculus VR and former employee at Facebook Palmer Luckey does not shy away from controversy. You might be surprised (or maybe not) that Luckey has some strong feelings about virtual reality porn and the hardware that would make it more immersive. He shared his thoughts during a discussion at a recent HentaiVR Pool Party. He's been confused by the lack of cooperation between global brands VR content brands and adult VR companies.

Social Media, Robotic Arms and More!
Like many industry veterans, Luckey acknowledges the role that pornography has played in influencing how we view video content. Porn deserves a nod for the standardization of streaming video and many of the billing and distribution process in use elsewhere. He states, "If I were at a major VR company again, what I would probably do is secretly fund adult virtual reality content." He continues, "Pornography has been an important driver for every form of media."

Luckey of Oculus claims that most developers in the space love VR porn but when they meet up at conferences they tend to act like they never heard of it before. It seems to really cooperate on VR porn developers will need to shake off the stigma of it all. He goes on to say that VR porn producers should be reaching out to leading YouTubers and Streamers to get the word out. Don't let the fact that Luckey shares all of this in full Anime drag distract you.

Most importantly, Palmer Lucky believes that standard peripherals are needed for VR porn to really take off. While "teledildonics" has been the term most used to describe sophisticated "interaction" with VR porn, Luckey has a vision of something that looks like an "industrial robot arm". Instead of carefully constructing a car on an assembly line, robotic arms of the future could be giving you a precision handjob. This is probably how Skynet was born!

Cum with me if you want to live.
